As a Continuous Improvement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, spearheading process planning, launching new product manufacturing, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and driving process improvement initiatives. Focusing on air filter parts, you'll lead the charge in enhancing efficiency and quality, ensuring seamless production through adept optimization of manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in propelling our manufacturing operations to new heights of excellence and innovation.
Main TasksCollaborate in RFQ phase, providing crucial process data.
- Formulate and refine manufacturing concept on prototyping insights.
- Specify necessary machinery, tools, and fixtures adhering to standards.
- Establish process schedule and allocate personnel.
- Validate product manufacturability.
- Create and maintain Standardized Work Chart
- Evaluate equipment, request capital investments for necessary machinery.
- Generate process documentation adhering to industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to short and long-term process capability and equipment safety requirements.
- Lead sample manufacturing for project prototypes, including internal performance testing.
- Introduce new processes and technologies within the team.
- Oversee launch performance and lead project transfers.
- Provide support for continuous process and quality enhancements.
- Contribute to project milestones through regular team meetings, status reporting, and effective collaboration.
- A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience
- 4 years of relevant experience in production planning
- Adept understanding of Lean Production Principles, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc. (Lean certification preferred)
- Experience and knowledge in APQP tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.)
- Proficient use of IT-tools (MS Office, cProjects, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Positive demeanor and adept interpersonal capabilities
- Proficient in fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to engage in extensive travel (50-70% of working time, remote during non-travel periods)
