Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a strong medical background.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in Medical/Surgical settings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
- Assist with procedures such as tube feedings, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and vital sign monitoring
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure infection control
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Handle emergency situations with efficiency and professionalism
Skills:
- Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
- Proficiency in tube feeding, memory care, aseptic technique, phlebotomy, vital signs monitoring, and venipuncture
- Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols
- Familiarity with mammography procedures
- Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center is a plus
