We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Bilingual Dental Assistant fluent in both Spanish and English to join our team.

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Dental Assistant to support our dental professionals and enhance patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both Spanish and English, ensuring that our Spanish-speaking patients feel comfortable and understood during their visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during various procedures and treatments
  • Prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following infection control protocols
  • Take and develop dental X-rays
  • Record and update patient medical histories and vital signs
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage dental office correspondence
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices in both Spanish and English
  • Ensure a high standard of patient care and comfort
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Dental Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program is preferred
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant is an advantage
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and work well in a team-oriented environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
