- Utilize a Government-provided tracking database to account for equipment turned into and issued from the Help Desk.
- Perform asset management activities (i.e. Supply duties) in the management of HW/SW life cycles, including all activities related to asset management associated with HW/SW purchases.
- Manage IT purchases for WDTC. Manage the Army Consolidated IT Bulk Buys for WDTC. There are two consolidated buy windows per year.
- Gather requirements from WDTC divisions, CORs, and the WDTC Command Group for IT equipment requests.
- Submit requirements to WDTC-CIO for review/approval.
- Complete all related purchase documents for approved items IAW local procedures.
- Submit package of purchase documents to the Government for acquisition. Submit a spreadsheet summarizing the overall purchase to the CIO and COR within 4 duty days of package submittal.
- Distribute equipment IAW local procedures.
- Maintain property accountability throughout the issue/replacement/re-issue process.
- Prior to turn-in or destruction of hard drives, verify the requesting individual is authorized to perform this request and that they are the owner of the hard drive. Completion of proper destruction documentation is required.
- Perform property management function to include preparing Department of the Army (DA) 3161s for transfers.
- Perform annual and semi-annual 100% inventory of items on the hand receipt of the CIO and include results in a status report to the CIO and COR. The report may be in Contractor format and shall be sent via email within 4 duty days of the end of the month in which the inventory was due. At any one time there are approximately 1000-1500 hand-receipt items.
- Conduct a monthly random sampling consisting of 10% of items on the hand receipt of the CIO and include results in a status report to the CIO and COR.
- Perform annual inventory of items on CIO durable property items responsible list and include results in a status report to the CIO and COR.
- Perform monthly sensitive items inventory and include results in a status report to the CIO and COR.
- Receive, route for processing and/or configuration, issue, transfer, receive and turn-in hand receipt items and durable property.
- Complete documents associated with receipt, issue, transfer, turn-in, destruction, loss, theft and inventory, and submit documents to CIO for review and/or signature. Route, store and/or upload documents following CIO signatures.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance on new equipment purchases.Experience:
