The Product Manager II at Hirschbach plays a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of our product strategy. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and post-launch optimization. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, the Product Manager II will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs and business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:Product Strategy Development:
  • Product Vision and Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Roadmap Planning:
  • Product Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration for Roadmap Execution: Work closely with different business units, engineering, data services, design, and other teams to ensure timely delivery of roadmap initiatives.
Feature Definition:
  • Product Requirements Definition: Define and document detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements.
  • UX/UI Collaboration: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly product experiences.
Release Management:
  • Product Release Management: Coordinate and oversee the planning, execution, and communication of product releases, ensuring alignment with release schedules and quality standards.
  • Post-launch Performance Monitoring: Monitor post-launch performance metrics and user feedback to iterate and optimize product features.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with engineering, design, operations, sales and customer service teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Server as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding product-related inquiries and updates in the business area you're responsible for.
Product Performance Analysis:
  • Product Metrics Tracking: Define and track key product metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of product initiatives.
  • Performance Data Analysis: Analyze product performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Talent Requirements:Education:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Preferred: Master's degree or higher in Engineering or Management.
Experience:
  • Experience Requirement: Minimum of 3-5 years if experience in product management or related roles.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of successfully managing and launching software products or digital solutions.
  • Agile experience: Experience working in agile development environments and cross-functional teams.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
