Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children while promoting their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to stimulate children's learning and development
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to explore and learn
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or conflicts among children
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
- Ensure the daycare facility is clean, organized, and meets all safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with children is required
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience in nannying or working in a preschool setting is a plus
- Special education background or training is beneficial
Requirements:
- Must have a passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a structured learning environment
- Current certification in first aid/CPR is desirable
- Child Abuse clearances
- High School Diploma
- 2 Reference letters
