Janitorial Attendant - Job Description:

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour, paid on an hourly basis (non-negotiable)Status: Part-time (11.00 hours/week)Schedule: (non-negotiable) – 2 shifts/week:

Job Summary - 

The Janitorial Attendant is primarily responsible for the general cleaning and janitorial duties in all common areas of the LRP facility. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Core Tasks and Responsibilities -

• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
• Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean building floors by sweeping mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours or checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, manually.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Clean laboratory equipment, such as glassware or metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, rags, or power cleaning equipment.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education -

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience -

• At least 1 year of proven related field is required.
• Previous cannabis industry experience is a plus.

Knowledge –

• Knowledge and understanding of state and local cannabis laws and how they apply to the operations of Lazy River Products.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.

Skills -

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.

Physical Requirement/Work Environment –

• Vertically integrated cannabis facility Work environment
• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Additional Requirements –

• Must pass a background check.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all legal or company regulation requirements for working in the industry.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
