About us

Plumb Line Physical Therapy is a small business in Douglassville, PA. We are professional, customer-centric and our goal is to provide quality physical therapy that will enable the client to improve their quality of life and facilitate the healing process.

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to oversee the operations of our small but busy office. This includes scheduling appointments and accurately updating patient records, contacting doctor's offices and insurance companies, and proficiency in computer skills. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual with experience in an office setting, as well as possessing strong attention to detail, customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, and knowledge of medical insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep patient records organized
  • Document payments and invoice in Quickbooks.
  • Organize and schedule appointments.
  • Manage patient information.
  • Communicate with staff and patients about changes in appointments and other matters.
  • Manage medical office records and handle billing and insurance issues.
  • Do general office work such as management, filing, emailing, etc.
  • Obtain authorizaton for patient visits through insurance.
  • Contact doctor's offices for referrals, prescriptions, and other documentation as needed.
  • Create and modify documents on Excel and Word.
