Job Summary

The primary duty of the Enrollment Management Support Specialist is to aid and assist in a variety of duties and functions within the Office of Enrollment Management, which includes the Office of Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid, and the Registrar's Office.

This position involves greeting students, answering phone and emails, and entering data for the Office of Enrollment Management.

Excellent customer service skills, telephone skills, accurate data entry and a high level of organization are requirements of this position.

Good computer skills, people skills, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment are required. The position will require some flexible work hours, including some evenings and weekends, as needed.

These skills are required while supporting the mission and vision of South Georgia State College.

Responsibilities

Administrative support duties -

Performs a variety of administrative support duties such as data entry, filing, reviewing, and processing incoming documents, maintaining and replenishing documents at the front counter;

Accuplacer test scheduling; responds to telephone, mail, and electronic inquiries for Enrollment Management Offices (Admissions, Registrar's Office, and the Office of Financial Aid).

Provide customer service and information regarding Enrollment Management process -

Advises and assists students, faculty, and staff with any questions or concerns regarding all departments within the Office of Enrollment;

offers effective customer service while assisting visitors for the Offices of Enrollment Management.

Document and data download -

Download / upload admissions applications, high school transcripts, and other documents for review and processing.

Application processing and data entry -

Processes returning student / readmit applications; accurately enter student data into Banner system and CampusLogic; assists with day-to-day processing, as needed.

Review, Scan, and Index Documents -

Ensures all documents are entered in Banner, and also scanned and indexed into data management system upon receipt; maintains and routes documents after scanning and indexing to appropriate department.

Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor -

Required Qualifications

The completion of an Associate's Degree.

At least one year experience working in a college setting.

OR a comparable combination of work and educational experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

At least two years of experience in a college setting.

OR a comparable combination of work and educational experience.

Proposed Salary

Proposed Salary : $31,151.12 plus benefits.
