The Shoma Bazaar is currently seeking a seasoned and accomplished General Manager to orchestrate the seamless operation of our esteemed establishment. The successful candidate will embody the essence of hospitality, possess exemplary leadership acumen, and exhibit finesse in managing the intricate facets of a multifaceted culinary venue.

About the Venue:

Shoma Bazaar is a community hub for local happenings, where an unprecedented collection of local chefs set the standard for culinary excellence in Miami. The visually stunning space features 6 zones – Café/Bakery, Americana, Street Food, Asian/Raw, Biergarten, and Lounge Bar. Guided by 4 core values – support local, create community, offer only the best and always be bold – Shoma Bazaar sets the stage for unforgettable culinary experiences guided by some of South Florida’s finest chefs.

Responsibilities:

· Exercise meticulous oversight of daily operations, ensuring the flawless execution of service standards across all outlets and bars.

· Uphold stringent inventory management practices, liaising with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and product quality.

· Champion adherence to rigorous health, safety, and sanitation protocols to safeguard the well-being of patrons and staff alike.

· Address guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with unwavering professionalism and expedience.

· Cultivate a culture of excellence and camaraderie amongst the team, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to personal and professional growth.

· Spearhead the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of a proficient and customer-centric workforce.

· Strategically schedule staff to ensure seamless coverage during peak periods and special events, optimizing operational efficiency.

· Exert judicious fiscal management, overseeing budgetary allocations and revenue targets to achieve sustained profitability.

· Implement astute cost-containment measures without compromising on the caliber of offerings or guest experience.

· Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and capitalize on revenue enhancement opportunities.

· Elevate the guest experience to unparalleled heights, orchestrating a symphony of culinary delights and attentive service.

· Collaborate closely with the culinary team to maintain uncompromising standards of culinary excellence and presentation.

· Solicit and incorporate guest feedback to continuously refine and enhance service offerings and operational protocols.

· Collaborate with the marketing department to conceptualize and execute compelling promotional initiatives and marketing campaigns.

· Curate captivating events, tastings, and themed experiences to captivate our discerning clientele and drive foot traffic.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is highly desirable.

· 5-7 years of experience in restaurant management capacity.

· Experience with POS systems such as: BBOT, UBER, Toast and Restaurant365 highly preferred.

· Prior experience overseeing a food hall is a plus.

· Proven track record of success in restaurant management, preferably within a high-volume, upscale dining environment.

· Exceptional leadership prowess, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and galvanize teams towards achieving collective objectives.

· Exemplary organizational acumen, coupled with adeptness in multitasking and prioritization within a fast-paced setting.

· Proficiency in financial management principles, budgeting, and P&L analysis.

· Familiarity with restaurant management software and MS Office suite.

· Possession of relevant certifications in food safety and sanitation.
