Examples Of DutiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Balance and code the previous day’s work and prepare daily report for distribution.
- Reconcile F&B outlets and banquet charges.
- Keep a log of all miscellaneous charges to be re-classed at month end.
- Review and analyze adjustments.
- Prepare routing pack to include adjustment, miscellaneous charges, refunds, promo charges and paid-outs.
- Process Doral Golf Resort and spa certificates, submit to corporate, and post reimbursements.
- Become a key component in achieving 100% compliance in the ICQ (Internal Controls Questionnaire).
- Retrieve night audit paperwork and file accordingly.
- S&P house accounts - Reverse revenues and expense taxes and gratuities.
- Audit credit card transactions.
- Uploading budget & forecast for the Daily Revenue Report.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Trump National Doral – Miami from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the industry that we are in, a need will occur for each associate to provide “Lateral Service”. Our goal is to ensure that we are maximizing customer satisfaction and as a result there will be times when our associates in the Operation will call upon us for support in order to ensure customer satisfaction occurs. When we are fortunate enough for this to occur, each associate will positively respond unless there is a chance that an opportunity resulting in dissatisfying a guest could occur. If this is the case the leader is to be notified and the level of support that is being requested will be obtained.
Supportive FunctionsIn addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.
- Perform any duties and responsibilities asked of by the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance based upon departmental needs.
- Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English.
- Good working knowledge of resort computerized systems (POS, PMS)
- Office machines: operate calculator/10 key by touch.
- Ability to effectively deal with guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
- Ability to handle several tasks at one time and meet multiple priorities if business demands.
- Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision, within initial training period after associate begins work.
