Hiring For: Bartender

The Cookery is part of Chef David DiBari’s growing restaurant group, which includes our sister restaurant, The Parlor, and our mobile wood-fired pizza oven, DoughNation. Chef DiBari has forged a reputation as one of the most boundary pushing chefs in Westchester with his progressive approach and unique cooking style. Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a working knowledge of full food and drink menu
  • Describe various drinks and food dishes to customers
  • Checks with guests regularly during dining experience to confirm satisfaction
  • Keeps all service and table areas clean, organized and stocked
  • Assists bus server in clearing and pre-bussing, when possible
  • Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact, respectable conversation and smiling
  • Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
  • Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by the Board of Health
  • Performs other related activities as assigned

  • Experience in a full service, fast paced restaurant as a bartender
  • Passion for food & wine
  • Impeccable service standards and attention to detail
  • Clean work habits and personal grooming
  • Resourceful and well-organized
  • Personable, outgoing, energetic team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Flexible availability including nights and weekends and holidays

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
