About Solano Resource Conservation District
Solano Resource Conservation District (Solano RCD) is a special district to the State of California that works closely with a variety of local and regional partners to enhance and protect Solano County watersheds through strategic restoration activities, water education and outreach programs, and by offering conservation planning and watershed coordination services to local residents, farmers and landowners. Position Summary
Solano RCD currently has one vacancy for the Office Coordinator (OC) position. The person selected for this position will report to the Solano RCD office in Dixon, CA.
The OC will work with the Office Manager and Executive Director to carry out various administrative and outreach tasks for Solano RCD. This position will work closely with all RCD staff to ensure all administrative responsibilities are being met. Additionally, the OC will help coordinate RCD public outreach, including events, social media, and website maintenance.
The person in this position must be civic-minded and enjoy interacting with diverse communities; work well with a dynamic and collaborative team, as well as independently; and have strong time management and organization skills. The Office Coordinator reports to the Office Manager.
Work Hours
To perform assigned duties, the employee will be required to work primarily during day hours in the office. RCD staff may have virtual workdays at the discretion of the Executive Director. The regular work time will occur between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday, with occasional night and weekend obligations.

Compensation and Benefits
This position is a non-exempt, 100% full-time equivalent position. Solano RCD’s current compensation rate for full-time coordinators ranges from $52,950 to $60,171 per year. There are four steps within this salary range and the successful applicant’s starting position within this range will be based upon experience and education. As part of employment, the RCD offers medical and dental for employees covered fully by the RCD, optional vision coverage, and paid vacation and holidays. Retirement benefits, which include 10% employer match, are available upon completion of a six (6) month probationary period.
