JOB DESCRIPTION NIGHT ATTENDANT

Duties and responsibilities include patrolling and monitoring premises to deter theft, violence, or infractions of rules.

Tasks:

Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.

Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.

Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.

Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.

Qualifications
- Must have strong security skills, including knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and handle challenging situations with professionalism
- Preferred certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Law Enforcement
- Experience in surveillance and monitoring activities
- Military background or training is a plus
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.77 - $17.35 per hour
