Position Summary: This position works within the quality group at Truform. The primary job task is to assist the QA Manager to maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications required:
· 5 years or more experience in a manufacturing environment
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
· Creative problem solving
· Ability to work within a team environment
· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
· Exceptional organizational skills
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite
· Excellent computer skills
· Understanding of IATF16949 and ISO 9001 / 14001 standards
· Complete Internal Auditors training
Essential functions and responsibilities:
· Complete all work adhering to IATF16949 and ISO 9001 / 14001 standards.
· Maintains a clean and organized office / plant work area.
· Help develop and maintain the digital library. (IQMS)
· Maintains the part history file with updated prints and documents. (IQMS)
· Perform internal audits.
· Works with all Truform team members in assisting and completing informational documents.
· Maintain and track all Key Process Indicators (KPIs)
· Establishes a working knowledge of the Truform Quality System
· Help develop and maintain QMS training system
· Be Truform’s team lead for all QMS related customer audits
· Attend QMS related training as determined by the QA Manager
· Must maintain a valid driver license
· Other job duties as assigned
Physical demands and work environment:
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time
· Must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time
· Must be able to squat, bend, twist and move to inspect tooling, equipment and parts
· Must have fine motor skills to grasp and manipulate small parts
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
· Must be able to work in a factory setting that is not climate controlled, as the project demands
