For further information, visit www.jll.com.Job DescriptionRequires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.Assist with the installation and repair piping/tubing; wire single and three phase motors (single & two speed); run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc.Install and rebuild pumps and motors; install and rebuild air compressors; heat exchangers; replace bearings in all types of motors; replace seals on pumps; install and repair piping, valves, filters, hot water systems and associated controls; assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment.Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes and other functional components of the system.Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Documents all work in the CMMS system.Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments. Applies all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.Experience with a CMMS system, a mustPrevious clean room experience, GMP or ISO knowledge, desired.Experience beyond construction style electrical work is a must, this could include trouble shooting of VFDs, Building automation devices like damper actuators, valve actuators and sensors.Experience as an electromechanical technician, desired.Massachusetts Journeyman or master Electrical License.Valid Driver’s LicenseKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESWorking knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.Must be able to speak, read and write fluent English.Ability to present self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.Ability to maintain a positive attitude.Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly to employees.Ability to work well under pressure.Ability to work well alone and in a team.Must have working knowledge of Micro soft office suite including email, excel and word.Good attention to detail.Good oral and written communication skills.Knowledge of and proficiency in all OSHA and local requirements related to all assigned work.Willingness to be open to learning and growing.Maturity of judgment and behavior.Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.Must comply with any dress code requirements.PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTSClose vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.Significant walking or other means of mobility.Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.Additional InformationHOURSAttends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity in light of JLL time and attendance policy and/or client operating hours.Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends and extended hours as business dictates.Must be able to support nights, weekends and holidays as directed by work shift assigned.Ability to work a flexible schedule.
