Senior Process Engineer

As the Process Engineer:

You will have opportunity to join a growing team focused on managing the process interface with products and will be responsible for the process design and implementation solving methodologies to eliminate down time and decrease quality defects to the customer.

The role responsibilities:

• Proposes and evaluates manufacturing process and equipment for assigned areas of plant
• Develop improvements of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Work closely with production and maintenance personnel and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects
• Analyze tooling and equipment and select proper steps for solution
• Meet plant goals and standards in safety, quality, delivery and cost
• Define production equipment specifications and train operators on robot interfaces, HMI screens, process build and tear down.
• Supports/implements the QS9000/ISO14001/(Client) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes
• Work with launch and quality engineers to maintain process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEAs), Control Plans, Process Flows, and inspection check sheets to ensure customer specific specifications and standards for products, application, and documentation are included after launch.

What we need from you:

• 5 years in process engineering
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Auto CAD and robot programming
• Knowledgeable in Kaizen
• Familiar with PFMEA, GD&T, SPC, preventative maintenance etc.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, procedures and methods.
• Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar fields.
