Pamela L. Reaves M.D., P.C. is Hiring a Medical Office Assistant Near Detroit, MI

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma and 1 year experience working in a medical office setting. Certification from an accredited training institution is a bonus. Must be able to begin working immediately. Working interchangeably in both the front and back office will be expected. Phlebotomy skills are a bonus. Candidates must demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to get along with others. Computer skills and ability to quickly adapt to the use of our electronic medical record is required. Basic literacy is expected and must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities include: Insurance verification, appointment scheduling, taking vital signs, initial patient intake, administering injectable medications, prepping exam rooms, stocking exam rooms, assisting the physician with procedures.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
