Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests.
Housekeeping-Interior
-Main house cleaning including dusting, mopping vacuuming, cleaning of artifacts, linens, drapes, etc. as needed
-Interior of the following dependency buildings
Outdoor Kitchen - bi monthly or monthly as needed
Louisiana Farm Barn - bi monthly or monthly as needed
Slave cabin and cooper's shop - bi monthly or monthly as needed
Historic Laundry
Housekeeping - Exterior
Main House
-Mop Gallery - bi weekly
-Shutters as needed
-Windows and doors - Upstairs and Downstairs
-Removal of cobwebs & mud divers on walls and exterior ceilings
-Removal of wasp nests
-Blow off bricks, walkways, porches, steps, ramps of all buildings - daily
Assist Supervisor when needed
Report any needed repairs of doorknobs, fixtures, steps, railing, lights, plumbing to maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial cleaning
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to handle equipment used in cleaning
- Attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
