Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role as an Associate Veterinarian at MountainView Veterinary Hospital in Denville, NJ. As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, including performing examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and performing surgeries. You will collaborate with our team of doctors and support staff to ensure the well-being and health of our patients. Additionally, you will be able to educate clients on preventive care and recommend appropriate treatment plans. A special interest in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery would be a bonus!
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Jersey
- Strong diagnostic and medical skills
- Experience or interest in small animal medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners
