WOODWORKER // CNC OPERATOR
JOB SUMMARY :
Uhuru is looking for a multi talented Woodworker to join our high-end custom furniture shop in Denver, Pennsylvania. As a Woodworker//CNC Operator, you will take pieces from inception through fabrication while meeting our stringent quality standards. Experience in both solid wood and engineered products is required, as our line ranges from slabs to case goods and everything in between. The position is full time.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
● Expert knowledge and experience of techniques, skills, and processes involved in woodworking, fabrication, CNC machining, and finishing
● Fabrication on a wide variety of products and projects for high end residential, retail, and commercial settings
● Knowledge of CAD and CNC programing
● Ability to build from technical / CAD drawings and recommend improvements
● Excellent communication skills- expresses ideas and issues clearly to management and coworkers
● Work independently and with a team
● Maintain high quality standards
● Ability to adapt to changes in workflow
● Managing project timelines across multiple projects under strict deadlines
● Familiarity with sustainable manufacturing techniques
