We are excited to invite you to apply for a Senior Sales Representative at BEA Transit Technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Creating awareness and demand for the company's products and services
- Identifying potential opportunities and effectively communicating benefits and opportunities available to meet needs and interests
- Maintaining communications with internal personnel to ensure efforts are in line with objectives
- Identifying prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing customers, participating in organizations, and from trade shows and conferences
- Calling on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information, and quoting appropriate customer prices
- Maintaining all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations
- Monitoring market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
- Negotiating details of contracts and payments
- Consulting with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
- Performing other sales duties as assigned
- Setting your own schedule & hours
Requirements
- 5 years of sales experience
- Ability to work independently
Preferred but not required
- Experience in Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) equipment and systems sales
- Experience in sales to public transit agencies
- Experience in equipment sales or leasing
- General experience with the AFC, public transportation, or government sectors
The company will offer two (2) types of compensation plans for this position:
Option A: Nominal Compensation Commission
- Nominal monthly compensation (W9)
- Direct Sale Project Commission of the total sale
- Residuals on subscription renewals
Option B: Commission Only
- Increased Direct Sale Project Commission
- Increased residuals on subscription renewals
