The Inverness Water and Sanitation District is currently accepting applications for an experienced water and wastewater operator located in the South Metro area of Denver.
We are searching for a team focused individual capable of performing tasks independently. Job duties are primarily outdoors performing maintenance on the water and sewer pipe systems including valve exercising, locates, line inspections, sample collection and documentation. Additional responsibilities and learning opportunities related to water treatment at our well facilities.
Mechanical aptitude, equipment operating experience, or experience with water & sewer systems preferred but not necessary. Candidates should be willing to participate in company-sponsored training programs and work towards obtaining water and wastewater certifications within a one-year period.
Starting salary range $50,000 - $80,000, annually, hour depending on water and wastewater certifications that the candidate has, qualifications and experience. We offer an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, paid time off, and retirement contributions. Employees are eligible for pay increases for passing state certification testing and after completing a 90-day introductory period.
