Environmental Technician

About the Job:
Auxilio Management Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Environmental Technician to join our dynamic team in Lakewood, CO!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage hazardous waste in a laboratory setting as part of a dedicated environmental team.
- Oversee daily pickups from various Satellite Accumulation Areas.
- Operate and maintain the onsite wastewater treatment system.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelors degree with experience in hazardous waste and materials management.
- Strong knowledge of lab packing protocols.
- Familiarity with EPA RCRA - Large Quantity Generator regulations.
- Current or past 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
- Basic understanding of chemistry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with wastewater treatment systems.
- Familiarity with DOT hazardous materials regulations.
- Knowledge of Satellite Accumulation Area regulations.
- Prior experience with live chemical inventory systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Capability to handle and move full 55-
- gallon drums using a drum dolly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Must pass a DOT Haz Mat Physical.
- Ability to wear a respirator for certain job functions.
Compensation:
- Full-Time Exempt Salaried position on-site in Lakewood, CO.
- Salary range: $50,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience.
- Extensive benefits package.
