Role Description

Environmental Technician

Auxilio Management Services • Lakewood, CO

About the Job:

Auxilio Management Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Environmental Technician to join our dynamic team in Lakewood, CO!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage hazardous waste in a laboratory setting as part of a dedicated environmental team.
  • Oversee daily pickups from various Satellite Accumulation Areas.
  • Operate and maintain the onsite wastewater treatment system.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelors degree with experience in hazardous waste and materials management.
  • Strong knowledge of lab packing protocols.
  • Familiarity with EPA RCRA - Large Quantity Generator regulations.
  • Current or past 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
  • Basic understanding of chemistry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with wastewater treatment systems.
  • Familiarity with DOT hazardous materials regulations.
  • Knowledge of Satellite Accumulation Area regulations.
  • Prior experience with live chemical inventory systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Capability to handle and move full 55-
  • gallon drums using a drum dolly.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must pass a DOT Haz Mat Physical.
  • Ability to wear a respirator for certain job functions.

Compensation:

  • Full-Time Exempt Salaried position on-site in Lakewood, CO.
  • Salary range: $50,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Extensive benefits package.
