Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist Location: Denton Job Type- PRN, Part- Time, Full- Time Job Summary: Pediatric Therapy, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong knowledge of child development. The Occupational therapist will work with children of all ages and abilities, providing therapy services to address functional deficits and promote development of fine motor, sensory processing, and self -care skills. Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations to assess children's functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide individualized therapy services to children to address fine motor, sensory processing, and self care skills. Collaborate with other therapist and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each child Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and other required required paperwork. Provide education and support to parents and caregivers to promote carryover of therapeutic interventions at home. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. Requirements: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Current State License Strong knowledge of child development and evidence - based practice in pediatric occupational therapy. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals, as well as the ability to educate and support families. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
