Quality Staffing Services is Hiring a Porter / Janitor Near Denton, MD
What to expect:As The Porter / Janitor, you must be dependable, and trustworthy, have high cleanliness standards, and good interpersonal skills. In the role of Porter / Janitor, you will have daily contact with community residents so good communication skills and transportation to commute between the Denton & St. Michaels locations on alternating days of the week are required.
Salary: $17.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Work Location: Denton, Maryland & St. Michaels, Maryland
What you will get to do:
- Daily cleaning of the clubhouse, leasing office, and model apartments including exercise facilities, pool deck, restrooms, sauna, and whirlpool areas, and all other indoor recreational facilities
- Deliver resident notices and assist with special projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Manager
- Window washing of common area clubhouse, office, and model apartment windows, and shampooing carpets on a quarter-annual schedule
- Preparation of turnover apartments for resident move-in, based on the monthly turnover schedule prepared by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Other duties, as assigned
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be knowledgeable in dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming along with appliance and bathroom cleaning
- Must be dependable, trustworthy, and a team player
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations on alternating days
