Location: Denison, TX

Duration: 3 Months

Shift: Nights 3*12 Schedule.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

· Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.

· Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.

· Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care.

· Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients’ needs.

· Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.

· Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidence by appropriate documentation

· Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidence by appropriate documentation

· Completes admission assessment in time frame established, according to policy and procedures.

Required:

· NIHSS, BLS & ACLS Required – (Can be done during the On Boarding process)

· BSN - Highly desired

· Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required.

· RN Experience - Required: 2 Years
