Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to accompany a student with medical needs on their daily bus route to and from school. The RN will be responsible for ensuring the student’s safety and well-being during transit, providing any necessary medical assistance or interventions as required. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and transportation personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany the student on the bus route to and from school
• Monitor the student’s health status during transit
• Administer medications or treatments as prescribed
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and transportation team
• Maintain accurate records of medical interventions and observations

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state of PA
• CPR certification
• Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure

Schedule:
Part-time hours, following the school calendar
