Job Summary:
The G10 Financial Business Systems Analyst review key financial reports, create financial and accounting insights through in depth financial and cost accounting methods to improve financial processes that are aligned with company financial strategy.
KEY RESULT AREA:
- Develop recommendations to lower costs and improve pricing margins.
- Analyses of business and financial data, including cost accounting that captures G10’s light manufacturing and value add services.
- Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
- Conduct pricing analysis of programs, transportation, material, services, and storage.
- Establish actual vs. budget financial reports for organizational leaders.
- Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
- Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Develop, implement, and oversee monthly billing compliance of programs for handling, storage, documentation, and transportation.
- Ensure accuracy, audit, and manage vendor and customer invoicing compliance related, but not limited to, chargebacks, returns, freight, 3pl, distribution, and other G10 services.
- Create and distribute financial reports in NetSuite ERP system or other financial reporting tools.
- Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards
- Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
- Thorough understanding of project management
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- NetSuite ERP system experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Will be sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift 15lbs.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Two years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or financial analyst
- Familiarity with 3pl and Distribution warehouse experience and transportation logistics preferred.
