Modern Molding Inc is Hiring an Automation Technician Near Delano, MN
* Install and assemble robotic systems onsite, assemble fixtures, robotic cells, and system components.
* Help setup and keep robots running in a production environment.
* Ability to safely work with control voltage and low power electronics.
* Ability to creatively solve problems .
* Ability to program and debug complex robotic programs utilizing various different languages.
* Ability to design manufacturable one off components to be utilized in end of arm.
* Ability to collaborate with multiple different people to optimize robotic operations.
* Cognex and banner sensor familiarity a plus.
* Must be able to effectively work independently and in small groups.
* Manage and maintain spare parts inventory for robots
Special Skills:
Experience with: electronic circuitry, mechanical assembly, hydraulics, reading blueprints, schematics.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to make things.
Safety conscious.
Very hands on, with the ability to document changes and improvements made.
Job Type: Full-time
