Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support our operations. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments.

A window and door installer is responsible for removing old windows, doors, and frames, and replacing them with new ones. Their duties include working with power tools, taking accurate measurements, fixing units, and cleaning up the job site. Window installers ensure that windows are properly mounted and sealed, and they may work independently or as part of a team.

Duties:
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials
- Operate equipment as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with general maintenance and repairs
- Fabricate and assemble components as directed

Responsibilities'-

• Accurate Measurements: They measure window or door openings precisely to ensure a proper fit, considering any structural irregularities.
• Safe Removal: They remove old windows or doors without damaging the surrounding structure, ensuring a clean workspace for the new installation.
• Site Preparation: Inspecting and preparing the installation site, addressing issues like rot, mold, or structural weaknesses before proceeding.
• Installation: Installing new windows or doors, including framing, sealing, and waterproofing, to ensure a secure and weather-tight fit.
• Insulation and Efficiency: Applying Insulation Spray foam, applying Interior/ exterior caulk to insure a weathertight seal and to enhance insulation and energy efficiency.
• Hardware Installation: Mounting hardware (locks, handles, hinges) to ensure security and functionality.
• Final Inspection: Conducting a final inspection, cleaning the installed windows or doors, and providing maintenance advice to homeowners.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or construction environment is preferred
- Knowledge of power tools and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Overtime

Supplemental pay types:
