Pearle Vision - De Pere is Hiring an Optician Near De Pere, WI

Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Take accurate measurements of patients' eyes and facial features
- Provide recommendations on lens options, frames, and lens enhancements
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to ensure optimal patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in optical technology

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an optician or in a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of optical concepts, including lens materials, coatings, and frame styles
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to ophthalmology and optometry
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Epic, to manage patient records
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately measure and fit eyewear
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and billing purposes
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
