Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing safety programs to create a secure work environment. This is a project based role, so 100% travel will be required.
Duties:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard communication, risk mitigation, and personal protective equipment
- Investigate accidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving overall safety performance
Experience:
- Proven experience in risk management and compliance management
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements
- Understanding of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) practices
- OSHA 30 minimum
- Background in construction management is a plus
