Description
SUMMARY:
ProFarm Group (PFG) is a subsidiary of Bioceres Crop Solutions, a global provider of biologically derived fertilizers, inoculants, crop traits, adjuvants, biostimulants and pesticides, serving the ever-expanding agricultural markets. PFG focuses on discovering, developing, and marketing nature-derived biostimulants, as well as pest management products from microbes and plant extracts for the effective control of invertebrate pests, weeds, and plant diseases.
Under the supervision of the Director, develops the skills, knowledge and ability to participate in improvement projects related to the company's accounting and reporting practices, helping to develop and standardize manual processes and analyze a variety of accounting data. Help drive a change in the depth and quality of finance and accounting reporting by playing an integral part in developing processes to facilitate streamlined reporting enabling the company's leaders to better identify key trends and insights while staying ahead of potential challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Assist in the financial reporting function of the company including: flash reporting, operating reporting, financial metric reporting and variation from budget reporting
• Compile and consolidate rolling actuals, budgets, forecasts and compiling variance analysis across various timelines.
• On an ad-hoc basis, assist the finance and accounting team in analysis and development to enhance and improve efficiencies in the company's accounting and reporting processes.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline required.
• Coursework in data analysis, accounting, finance, SQL/R/Python is desired.

In addition, the individual should:

• Must be able to handle a dynamic and changing work environment and work independently as well as work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be proficient in Excel and able to manipulate and analyze large data sets, spreadsheet management, and the ability to create formulas and functions.
• Ability to present financial data concisely using detailed reports and data visualization techniques, as well as through written and oral communication.
• Ability to apply working knowledge of accounting principles to provide practical and feasible solutions to problems.
• Analytical skills are a plus.
