Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Davidson, NC area in finding a Full-Time Family Assistant to assist in caring for their four-year-old and one-year-old daughters and home.

The Family Assistant would be needed Monday - Friday, 30 - 40 hours a week, with additional babysitting needs on occasion, requested by the parents.

The best Family Assistant for this family would be someone who is reliable, trustworthy, professional, organized, passionate about working with children, and dedicated to keeping a home running smoothly.

A seasoned family assistant who is able to anticipate the needs of the family and has previous professional nannying and house management experience would be a great fit for this family.

Ideally, the family would find a Family Assistant who values learning, exploration, teaching, patience, and kindness. The Family Assistant should be engaging and be able to tend to the needs of their children and home.

When caring for the children, the Family Assistant should be able to meet the children's daily needs, keep them on schedule, take them on walks, read to them, play inside and outside, and engage them in age-appropriate activities.

The family loves being outside, so it's important that the Family Assistant is active and enjoys spending time outdoors.

It is important to the family that the family Assistant is knowledgeable in developing activities that will encourage the children’s development as they grow older.

When the children are in school and during downtimes, the Family Assistant would be expected to take care of the household management tasks listed below and help keep the home running smoothly.

The mom will be working from home each day, the best family assistant should be able to thrive in this environment.

Nanny Responsibilities Include :

Meeting the daily scheduling needs of the children

Help the children dress appropriately for the day

Bathing the children as needed

Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

Taking the children to pre-approved, age-appropriate outings and adventures around town (Story Time, Park, Library, Music Time, and more)

Household Management Duties :

Family Laundry

Prepping the children’s food and feeding the children

Family meal prep

Loading / unloading the dishwasher and washing or putting away dishes.

Sanitizing surfaces and toys

Light tidying up

Running errands

Organizing tasks

Qualifications :

Have at least 3 years of professional Nanny and Household Management experience or Family Assistant experience.

College degree or equivalent experience

Have a professional resume

Fill out a complete online application

Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

Have a valid driver’s license

Have safe and reliable transportation

Have a minimum of three professional references

CPR and First Aid Certified

English proficiency, any additional languages spoken are a bonus

A Family Assistant who is vaccinated for Covid-19 would be preferred. However, the family is also open to a Family Assistant who is not vaccinated

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits :

This position starts ASAP

Legal pay is offered at $25.00 - $28.00 an hour, negotiable depending on experience

Continued pay while the family is away (30 hours a week Guaranteed)

Two weeks of paid time off

Paid mileage for driving on the job (Not to and from work)

Express Lane pass provided if needed

Annual performance-based bonus
