Position Summary :
- Receive incoming stock items at the loading dock and transport to staging area.
- Inspect items for damage, perform quality checks and temperature checks, verify lot numbers and take appropriate action as needed.
- Rotate date sensitive stock to the front of the rack (FIFO) and remove outdated inventory according to company policy.
- Work with refrigerated and frozen product.
- Perform inventory counts.
- Assist customers with selections.
- Handle daily cash applications including tender of customer orders, collect cash, check, and credit card payments and responsible for end of day drawer balance.
- Select customer orders for will-call.
- Perform general housekeeping duties,
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
