Davenport Community Schools is Hiring a Substitute Teacher Near Davenport, IA
Davenport Community School District is currently hiring substitute teachers for the 2023-2024 school year
To substitute teach in the State of Iowa you must hold a current Iowa Teaching License, Iowa Substitute Teaching License, or Iowa Substitute Authorization License.
For more information on obtaining licensure in Iowa, please visit the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners website at: http://www.boee.iowa.gov/
In order for an application to be considered complete, a copy of each of these documents must be uploaded with application:
- Current Iowa Teaching License, Iowa Substitute Teaching License, or Iowa Substitute Authorization License
- Current Iowa Mandatory Reporter Child Abuse certificate
- Current Iowa Mandatory Reporter: Dependent Adult Abuse certificate
2023-24 Pay Rates:
- Base Rate - $129/full day, $64.50/half day
- Long Term Rate (20 or more consecutive days for same classroom) $173/full day, $86.50/half day
- Retired Teacher rate - $173/full day, $86.50/half day
