OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

WorldCare Pet Transport based in Darien, CT seeks a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to help lead our dynamic operations team. This pivotal role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations and is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and compliance with our company's high standards. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership : Help guide the operations team, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and upholding our commitment to quality.
Performance Management: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance operational efficiency.
Data Stewardship: Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and security of all operational databases.
Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality service delivery.
Operational Reporting: Analyze and report on operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Training Development: Create training materials that promote skill enhancement and best practice adherence within the team.
Presentation Development: Craft and deliver engaging presentations that clearly communicate operational status and achievements.
Program Management: Oversee our unique and expanding Pet Nanny program, ensuring its success and growth. Assist with roll-out of innovative new programs.
Project Support: Assist with various operational projects, collaborating with departments to meet company-wide goals.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 2 years of experience in an operational leadership role
Strong leadership presence with excellent motivational and communication skills
Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Highly proficient in database management and reporting tools
Advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft and Google programs
Knowledge of how to use AI tools to improve efficiency and develop new report methods
Capable of juggling multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience in vendor management and negotiations is highly desirable
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is a requirement, ideally in a Business Administration major or related discipline of study
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
