3C Correctional Care is Hiring a Social Worker Near Danville, IN

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing mental health counseling and support to individuals and families in need. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings

- Provide counseling and therapy to individuals with various mental health conditions

- Utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychopharmacology

- Assist individuals with autism in developing social skills and coping mechanisms

- Conduct data collection and analysis to monitor client progress

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients

- Provide crisis intervention services as needed

- Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources

- Assist individuals with PTSD in developing effective coping strategies

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques and psychopharmacology

- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum

- Proficient in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques

- Ability to collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions

- Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies

- Excellent patient care skills, including empathy and active listening

- Familiarity with healthcare systems and resources

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field

- Valid licensure or certification as a Social Worker (if required by state)

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
