Manufacturing Engineers are responsible for the development of processes required to successfully fabricate aerospace engine parts.

Essential functions of the position include:

• Develop manufacturing processes required to successfully fabricate parts based on customer specifications
• Evaluate and implement manufacturing process improvements
• Identify and lead problem-solving initiatives related to manufacturing processes and part creation 
• Daily interaction with employees, customers, and suppliers
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Use of calipers, micrometers, high stands, and indicators 
• Daily use of computer and various software, including IFS and Unigraphics
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the position include:

• Prior experience and/or education in the engineering field is required
• Proficiency with computer aided 2-D and 3-D design of complex 3-dimensional contours
• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes that are needed to fabricate products
• Demonstrated dedication to understanding and applying lean manufacturing principles
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills is preferred
