Teknect is currently seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer based in Danvers, Massachusetts, with coverage across the United States, Canada, and occasional assignments in Mexico.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Teknect’s Field Management system, Anti-Collision hardware and various other safety and monitoring products onto various forklift, powered pallet jacks and maintenance vehicles at customer locations throughout the United States, Canada and occasional in Mexico.
• Provide excellence train to fortune 500 customer forklift technicians and 3^rd party service companies to install Teknect’s Field Management system, Anti-Collision hardware and various other safety and monitoring products onto various forklift, powered pallet jacks and maintenance vehicles at customer locations throughout the United States, Canada and occasional in Mexico.
• Trouble shoot any issues related to Teknect’s software and hardware issues to keep the customers operations flowing.
• Perform quarterly and annual planned maintenance on customer systems when required.
• Extensive travel throughout the North America providing installation, technical, and training support is required (infrequent travel abroad may be required)

Qualifications:

• Two plus years of Electronics degree or equivalent work experience installing telematics systems on various forklifts, powered pallet jacks, and maintenance carts.
• Two plus years of experience as an electronics technician with previous automobile, trailer, and/or forklift mechanic experience, demonstrating excellent electro-mechanical skills.
• Strong oral and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
• Ability to travel out of state 95% of the time.
• Proficiency in working in a high-pressure environment to meet strict deadlines.
• Capability to maneuver under and over forklifts, trailers, chassis, trucks, and vans.
• Competence in using ladders and following safety procedures, including OSHA compliance regulations.
• Willingness to undergo random drug testing as requested by customers.
• Ability to provide detailed documentation of customer site visits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and TEAM.
• Clean driving record for the last three years.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively with a positive attitude.
• Possession of a current passport or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
• Proficiency in operating a multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscope.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematics.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.

Travel: 95% Travel Required within United States, Canada and Mexico with occasional travel overseas including China.
