Infrahire is Hiring a Diesel Mechanic Near Danvers, MA
- Evaluate equipment to identify needed repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues; implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to hydraulic components, steering systems, engines, etc.
- Perform repairs or preventive maintenance on electrical systems and heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, skid steers, etc.
- Welding and/or fabricating necessary parts for equipment repair is a plus.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance work is carried out safely, efficiently, timely, and cost-effectively.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and ensure timely and effective repair of any problems identified during inspections.
- Over 3 years of mechanic experience
- Experience with heavy-duty trucks and construction equipment
- Must possess own tools
- DOT Medical Card required
- MA Hoisting License preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (CDL preferred
