Pay Range $17.50hr - $19.50hr
Specification:
- Experience Minimum Required.
- Minimum of two years customer service experience with switchboard/multi-line phones in high volume, fast paced professional setting.
- Computerized office skills with an understanding of the Microsoft 356 for Enterprise suite of applications including: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Be an active participant in email management, data entry, electronic calendar management and video conferencing, and the ability to log in/out/lock a shared network computer.
- Two years switchboard/multi-line phone experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Call center experience or dispatch experience desired.
- Two years administrative experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Education Preferred/Desired.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Near Vision - Accurate (20/40).
- Far Vision - Accurate (20/40).
- Color Discrimination - Yes.
- Depth Perception - Accurate.
- Hearing - Accurate.
- Bloodborne Pathogens - Category 3 – Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, and Category 1 tasks are not a condition for employment.

- HIPAA – Protects the privacy of patient data written, electronically and verbally.
- Code of Organizational Ethics/Compliance – Understands and adheres to Duty to Comply, Duty to Act in an Ethical Manner, Duty to Participate in Education and Training, Duty to participate in Auditing and Monitoring, duty to Participate in an Investigation and Obligation to Report.
- Coordinates switchboard administrative needs.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining switchboard schedule including securing coverage for time off requests.
- Responsible for switchboard time keeping in Kronos and updating Outlook calendar.
- Assists with scheduling department meetings and note taking.
- Tracks and orders department office supplies.
- Provides monthly safety department checklist to Plant Operations.
- Updates and ensures accuracy of the switchboard documents as needed.
- Ensures department shared drive, and SharePoint and Teams site is up-to-date and accurate.
- Edits and maintains switchboard documents and code manuals.
- Ensure members of the Senior Management Committee are entered into the Employee Alert System.
- Oversees Teledesk/PPD maintenance.
- Assists with data collection and reporting.
- Serves as an internal expert resource for the switchboard team.
- Encourages a high-functioning switchboard team by sharing knowledge and encourages communication between team members.
- Responsible for training and orienting new hires.
- Serves as a role model and helps ensure a calm and caring environment.
- Provides input to the manager on employee annual appraisals.
- Communicates with internal and external clients.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
- Serves as an active member of the Emergency Management Team and as lead re.
