Coastal Blooms Learning Academy is Hiring a Preschool Director Near Daniel, SC

Job description

Our Daniel Island, SC location is looking for a Preschool Director to lead our childcare center. The Director will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business, while maintaining excellent customer relations and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childcare, education or other related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe and loving environment for students and teachers/staff.
  • Supervising and leading the teachers and staff (including training and observations).
  • Perform annual performance reviews for teachers/staff.
  • Overseeing teachers operations, procedures and classroom activities.
  • Planning school activities such as Back to School events, preschool graduation, holiday programs and also putting together the school calendar.
  • Ensuring student/teacher ratios are maintained at all times.
  • Managing recruitment and hiring of employees.
  • Establishing and enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing inventory control.
  • Ensuring appropriate communication is maintatined between students, parents, teachers and staff such as billing issues, collections, school closures, programs, etc.
  • Overseeing marketing efforts such as advertising, promotions, etc. Conduct tours and recruit new students when there are openings.
  • Maintain student and teacher/staff files and ensure all necessary paperwork is present and current.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Experience:

  • 1 year experience working in a licenesed, approved or registered childcare facility.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Child Psychology or related field, preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year

  • Childcare: 3 years (Preferred)
