Pay range: $38/hr. on W2
SHIFT HOURS: 8-5WORK SITE: Danbury - Building 37CAN THE WORKER WORK REMOTE: Possibly, 1 or 2 days per week WFH
IS THERE A LIKELIHOOD OF AN EXTENSION PAST THE INITIAL DURATION: Yes.IS THERE A POSSIBILITY THE WORKER COULD BE TRANSITIONED TO AN CLIENT FULL TIME EMPLOYEE: Yes, highly dependent on performance and ability to eventually relocate to the Newark office.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:Responsibilities:• Determining material requirements between manufacturing sites using MRP system.• Generating internal sales orders, move orders between sites• Coordinating with Procurement, Stock room, and logistics department on transfer of material between sites.• Creation and modifications of PO at the discretion of Senior level Buyers
Requirements:• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and material management systems.
- Provides support to Project Northeast teams as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
-Ideally, we are looking for someone with:
- College degree and or 5 years of experience in purchasing/buyer role.
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP and MRP preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Quick decision making and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of BOM’s, routings and or recipes and work centersur.
