Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Travel is required between all three of our offices.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Register patients, collect necessary information, and verify insurance coverage
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow
Skills:
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
- Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred
- Knowledge of medical/dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
