Creative Financial Staffing is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Danbury, CT

Our client, a respected manufacturing organization experiencing growth, seeks an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their dynamic accounting department.

Partnering with CFS, they're looking for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to their continued success. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will manage invoicing, payments, collections, reconciliations, reporting, and assist with financial audits.

Location : Danbury, CT - On-site position, Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM.

Responsibilities :

  • Invoice orders and review bank accounts for customer payments.
  • Resolve deductions and collections, including making collection calls.
  • Process remote check deposits and apply payments.
  • Reconcile accounts and assist with intercompany settlements.
  • Author and distribute Accounts Receivable reports.
  • Analyze business practices for financial productivity improvement.
  • Assist with financial audits and other projects as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Prior accounts receivable or related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
