JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position responsible for daily gas scheduling, balancing, and operations support for various pipeline and plant assets in Matador’s regions of operation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate the movement of natural gas to meet contractual obligations
• Complete daily and monthly nomination deadlines
• Work closely with accounting to resolve rate and volume discrepancies
• Provide trading with accurate and timely notice of operational developments including imbalance positions, capacity availability, and pipeline operational status
• On-call evenings and weekends and holidays
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint

Education and Experience:

• Degree in accounting, business, math, or a related field.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, internal departments, outside operators, field personnel, and outside parties.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Team player mentality.
• Willingness to learn new applications and develop competence in any software that is required for the position.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated personality with a sense of urgency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Training will be provided to develop competence in software.
