Progressive Small Animal Hospital and Referral Center for Advanced Diagnostics and Surgery is seeking part-time or full-time Veterinary Technicians to join our team, in our brand new State-of-the Art Hospital. Our technicians get to be hands-on with patient care, not just limited to animal restraint, filling prescriptions and keeping computerized exam notes. We offer high-quality diagnostic services including an extensive in-house lab with Idexx equipment, ultrasound, endoscopy, laser surgery, cold laser therapy, digital xray and telemedicine. In addition to our 4 veterinarians on staff, one of whom see exotics, we have a Residency-trained veterinarian who comes in for advanced orthopedic and soft-tissue surgery. We are looking for skilled, compassionate technicians who are highly motivated, team players, detail-oriented, and a quick study. The right candidates need to be skilled in phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, intubation, drug calculations, surgical preparation, digital radiography, dental prophylaxis and all phases of anesthesia, including induction/anesthetic monitoring/ patient recovery.
