Come Join Our Family!Our Dunmore Division located in Dunmore, PA is looking for a Class A CDL Tractor Trailer Driver who will play a critical role on our team to support our ongoing success in a family-like company environment while safely and responsibility removing our communities’ trash and recycling.
What You Will Do
- Reports any maintenance issues on the vehicle condition report and reports it immediately to the Route Supervisor or Operations Manager
- Immediately reports to the company any accident, traffic violation, or license suspension
- As well as other duties as assigned or described in the job description for this role
- Must be at least 21 years old to apply
- A minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- A valid PA Commercial Driver’s License CDL Class A
- Must meet all required DOT physical and medical requirements and pass a substance abuse screening.
- As a safety sensitive employee and in accordance with all FMC laws, all drivers are subject to random substance abuse screening under DOT and company policy.
- Ability to effectively deal with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Requires a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle to prevent damage to truck, equipment, or surrounding items.
- Ability to sit in the cab of the truck for long periods.
- Able to bend, stoop, and climb into and out of the vehicle and body unassisted multiple times a day.
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
- Prefer experience with manual endorsement
